Yes, bestie, you are the sun and the moon. Everyone should follow your schedule. Like, it's really not that serious. Do they want you showing up in a bad mood and ruining the vibes because they rushed you? Because you can do that, you control the vibes. It's a talent of everyone who is a chronic late person. It's much preferred for everyone involved that it's accepted that you're late. Then everyone can LOL and just meme about your lateness and still have a good time!

Let's be honest, being the late friend means you are the one in the friend group responsible for keeping things spicy and exciting. If it weren't for you, everyone would just be in this monotonous rotation of the same thing over and over again, like clockwork. Boring! Not for you and your friends. You will make sure that everyone is kept on their toes! Ready for anything at any moment. Honestly, we applaud you. Every friend group needs a late friend.

What would the world be like if nobody was ever late? That sounds boring and maybe even disastrous. I know I would totally lose my mind if being one time was always the top priority. I would have never helped that lost child if I hadn't been late and missed the bus. (I'm sure someone could say that…) I would have never created that brilliant gourmet masterpiece if I had made it to the grocery store before it closed, because I never would've been forced to improvise! (A chef somewhere probably said once…) You see what I'm saying? We need lateness in our life. At least to smell the flowers and LOL at the memes!
